Hydroxycitric Acid - HCA
One of the most advanced fat reducing nutrients is hydroxycitric acid (HCA). Studies show that HCA can curb appetite, reduce food intake and inhibit the production of fats and cholesterol. For centuries, people in southern India have used the fruit rind of Garcinia cambogia as a food preservative, flavoring agent and digestive aid. Studies show that HCA is as safe as citric acid which is used in commercial food production.
HCA should be taken 30 to 45 minutes before meals to be effective, although it can remain active for several hours afterward. Trials also show that HCA is 700% more effective when taken two to three times per day than when taken only once. Suggested use for this product: Take 1-3 HCA capsules with each Citrichrome capsule 30-45 minutes before meals. Supplement Facts: Serving size 1 capsule.
Garcinia cambogia 1 fruit powder extract standardized for 50% (250 mg) hydroxycitric acid 500 mg - Other ingredients: gelatin and water.

Inositol
INOSITOL CAPSULES (500 mg) Directions: For use as a nutritional supplement to alleviate depression, panic disorders, or obsessive-compulsive disorders, take eight capsules, three times a day. For general health maintenance, two capsules per day. Each bottle contains 100 capsules inositol 500 mg. Inositol is a sugar found in the muscles which does not stimulate insulin release. Inositol is a cell membrane stabilizer and a hydroxyl radical scavenger. It may be of help against arthritis, thinning or graying hair, and crushing injuries. It is necessary for the growth of muscle cells and also has a relaxing effect. This can be helpful for those suffering from insomnia if taken before sleep. High doses of inositol can cause diarrhea in some individuals.

KAVA KAVA
Kava Kava (Piper methysticum) is an herb which has been relied upon by South Pacific Islanders for centuries, due to its ability to relax the body both physically and mentally. Elders of the South Pacific tribes have traditionally used this herb during ceremonies when they wanted to achieve a tranquil, meditative state. Scientific investigation has revealed that the power of Kava Kava comes from the synergistic mechanisms of six active ingredients, called kavalactones. Source Naturals utilizes a standardized extract of Kava Kava root yielding 30% kavalactones, ensuring a consistently high level of activity. For optimal results, use daily for at least four weeks. Kavalactones may help improve well-being and relaxation without interfering with mental clarity and focus. Serving size 2 sprays Servings per container 42 Amount per serving: Kava kava root extract (Piper methysticum) 120 mg Standardized to 40% kavalactones Yielding 48 mg of kavalactones. L-Cysteine
L-Cysteine is a conditionally essential amino acid, one of only three sulfur-containing amino acids, the others being taurine (which can be produced from L-Cysteine) and L-Methionine from which L-Cysteine can be produced in the body by a multi-step proces. L-Cysteine can act as an antioxidant, may prevent liver diseases, and can help to thicken the individual diameters of existing hair if taken regularly.

Lecithin
Lecithin contains all the phosphatides found naturally in cell membranes. The same lecithin product was used in research performed by Ronald Mervis, M.D., at Ohio State University, in which laboratory animals fed lecithin were found to have less deterioration of neural dendrites than controls. In addition to its value for memory and mutual function, studies suggest that lecithin alters the membranes of cells in a manner that inhibits the entry of viruses. Lecithin works by increasing the cell membrane ratio of phosphatidylcholin/phosphatidylethanolamine to cholesterol, increasing the fluidity of the cell membrane, making it harder for viruses to penetrate. Lecithin's ability to reduce cholesterol in cell membranes may also prevent cholesterol-induced atherosclerosis.

L-Phenylalanine
D,L-Phenylalanine Capsules are a 50/50 blend of the D-and L-forms of phenylalanine. D-phenylalanine is used to relieve pain. L-phenylalanine is used as an appetite suppressant, stimulant and antidepressant.
Phenylalanine is used by the brain to produce norepinephrine, a hormone depleted by stress, overwork and certain drugs. One to two capsules are usually taken upon awakening, on an empty stomach. Phenylalanine should be used with caution by people with hypertension, as it may raise blood pressure in some individuals. If you have hypertension, you may wish to monitor your blood pressure with a home blood pressure monitor kit when starting out with small doses of phenylalanine. Phenylalanine should also be avoided by cancer patients.

Magnesium
Magnesium may be deficient in 80% of all Americans and this deficiency may help explain the epidemic of arterial disease affecting Western society. Magnesium is so inexpensive that everyone should consider supplementing at least 500 mg of magnesium daily. This product provides one of the highest concentrations of elemental magnesium per capsule available on the market.

Melatonin
Melatonin is the most effective antioxidant yet studied because it easily penetrates cell membranes (especially in the brain) to provide protection against free radicals throughout all our cells. Melatonin crosses the blood-brain barrier very effectively. It appears to protect the central nervous system against injury, disease, and aging better than any other substance. Melatonin is used to induce drowsiness and improve sleep patterns. More and more doctors are recommending Melatonin as a safe and effective insomnia therapy instead of dangerous FDA-approved drugs such as Halcion, Xanax, and Valium. European doctors are prescribing Melatonin in doses of 10 to 50 mg a night to treat cancer because of strong evidence that Melatonin can prevent many forms of cancer, especially breast cancer. The Life Extension Foundation believes that Melatonin is the single most effective anti-aging therapy in the world. It has been shown, in thousands of published studies, to protect against almost every disease associated with aging including cardiovascular disease, osteoporosis, age-associated immune impairment, and Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease, as well as against aging itself. Melatonin has been shown to be completely safe in humans in doses of up to 1,000 mg daily. The most common side effect of taking too much Melatonin is feeling drowsy when you wake up, which can be prevented by taking less Melatonin the next night. The Life Extension Foundation uses only pharmaceutical-quality Melatonin that has been Assayed for purity, with results of up to 100% purity (minimum 99.9% purity). Favorable reports on Melatonin have been featured in almost every news and magazine program in America. Here are our protocols for Melatonin supplementation: Minimum dose for almost everyone over age 40: 500 mcg each night Suggested dose for almost everyone over age 50: 3 mg -6 mg each night.

Methionine
Methionine is low in most vegetables and legumes, but is high in meat and dairy products. Free form methionine helps to improve the tone and pliability of the skin, strengthen nails, helps hair. Methionine should be taken with B6 and magnesium. Magnesium is an important cofactor needed to convert methionine in the first stage of its metabolic pathway. Methionine can chelate heavy metals, such as lead, cadmium, and mercury. It can attach to them and eliminate them from the body. It is very important for brain function. Methionine is the main component in SAMe (S-adenosylmethionine), which is essential in the production of adrenaline, for which it also needs adequate amounts of magnesium. SAMe is widely used in the body's metabolic pathways. Phenylalanine needs the activated methionine (SAMe) before it can create its final stage making of adrenaline. This can help us understand why getting a complex of amino acids are very important. This activated form of methionine has also been found to be helpful in premature ejaculation and chronic depression.
Supplement Facts: Serving size 1/4 teaspoon
Amount per serving: L-methionine 2.8 grams
Other ingredients: none. Take with vitamin B6.
